Dark Star Part 1

Dark Star series concept 

currently im working on a concept for a animated 2d adventure series that's working title is "Dark Star" the general premise is a group of friends trying to get control of their lifes after discovering a plot to manipulate them into someone elses vision for their own unknown purpose.

 the three main characters are currently called Kiro, Darcy and Ash (short for Ashley) a group of friends who live in a plutocracy ran regin known as Helmscroft who's ruling company called Caliber has recently closed its schools forcing the characters to get jobs, along with this Kiro's father, a researcher at Caliber has disappeared and the Group decided to investigate, with some bribing from Kiro.
what they discover in the research facility is an investigation into something called the dark star and its many uses, one of which being the creation of human life in your own design, however this leave's the creation with a "birthmark" a dark coloration in the skin, much like a tattoo, two of the friends recongenise this mark as they have it on themselves, but dont disclose this to the others, as they continue reading it appears there was a plot to manipulate the group into what the controller of the dark star desired, having the two created by the darkstar be killed by another creation of the dark star only known as "The killer" this forces the character's to leave Helmscroft in order the find the dark star, last know to he held in another reign known as Bolo,

Bolo's a city of criminals who some of which where hired to steal the Dark star from Porfill, a huge fishing/ farming reign that is peaceful with most of the other reigns, from someone only called the current owner, the plan was to have the dark star returned to helmscroft and subsequently have a endless working force and military but the delivery is late- unknown to everyone outside of Bolo someone attempted to use the dark star when passing through the unclamed land that seperates Bolo from porfill (a great wall seperates them on the sides that meet, covering 1/4 of bolo in shadow for most of the day) only to have it regect the wielder and turn him into a monstrosity, that ran off towards bolo, where the group is heading.

at the moment i am designing the main characters, with that i will do some poses that give a general scene of their personality's

im thinking of creating a world map, since this is a adventure series the characters will travel between the many reigns of the world they live in (will think of a world name soon) and each reign has its own "character" since most reigns are run through a plutocracy the ruling company designs the culture and design of what they essentially control, in many way's like the resource's they control.
