Ryan (2004)

Chris Landreth, a Canadian animator created an animated documentary called Ryan, it was about the conversation he had with his hero Ryan Larkin, also a Canadian animator who had been renowned by his past films like walking (1969) and Street Musique (1972) but have fallen on hard times, and due the homelessness,alcoholism and other drug addictions he was left begging for money on a street corner, the film was successful in that it inspired Ryan to get back into creating films.

Bob Sabiston & Richard Linklater

Bob is a american animator that developed an animation program called Rotoshop, this program lets you rotoscope live action film by paining over the key frames in the film, and the program does the in-betweens, he used this program to create films like Snack and Drink, a short film about a autistic boy getting food from a convenience store and feature length films such as Waking Life, which he had co-made with Richard Linklater , and in 2006 Richard made A Scanner Darkly, based of the book by the same name with rotoshop.

Chris Shepherd

Chris Shepherd is the creator of the multi award wining short film Dads Dead (2004) which is based of real people from his childhood in Liverpool done from the perspective of the working class family child he was, the film incorporates film and animation to give the effect of the disturbed reality the characters live in. Chris also worked on Who I Am and What I Want (2005) with surrealist cartoon artist David Shrigley, which is based on Davids book with the same name
