sad stuff from films in my past
this film makes the iron giant very human like, but not just human, Innocent and child like too and for a child (even if not a gigantic robot) made the character relatable, and for any character that is relatable.
Pokemon, the first movie
ash's "death" probably the first "death" i had ever seen on film where it seemed like the character was actually gone, of course now i can see through things like this knowing that main characters tend to never die. it was made all the more sad because i followed the tv series i knew the characters and that most adventures they when on were comical but now its suddenly serious, at lest somewhat.
