Character design development: Darcy

Version 1

initially i felt like i needed to redesign Darcy to appear more like a mechanic, also i thought the design of his "tool belt" wasn't unique/interesting but needed to be more revealing about his character/occupation   

Version 2

I attempted different colour designs that where both appealing but different from the other characters

Version 3

in this version i was attempting merging the original designs "good" features and the new ones

 Version 4

i found that with working with my initial design i should just expand upon what i already had, i altered the proportions of Darcy's body and added a "leg strap" tool belt .

1st project   the first project i was tasked with completing was a motion graphics animated timeline, however due to disclosure agreements i am unable to post any images online show this, however i will speak about what i have done to create it. client specifications &  clients Brand style guidelines what are they? firstly, The Specifications for the timeline i was creating where established with a short test version of the timeline that the client was shown for their approval, this was go give a general idea of the final product before continuing its production. With this I had to follow the clients Brand style guidelines: that is the company's trademarked colours font choices, how and where to use logos.
