Drama Film Genre


  • This genre is less common to follow any architypes, characters often experience negative scenarios such as mental illness, violence, drug abuse, crime, grief  
  • Most of the iconic characters from this genre are involved in, or effected by organised crime like gangs, and that is what the storyline revolves around
  • Films in this genre, more recently have been diverging from organised crime, but have not created more notable characters than those in the past, excluding Jay Gatsby (from The Great Gatsby, the 2013, however it is a remake).

1st project   the first project i was tasked with completing was a motion graphics animated timeline, however due to disclosure agreements i am unable to post any images online show this, however i will speak about what i have done to create it. client specifications &  clients Brand style guidelines what are they? firstly, The Specifications for the timeline i was creating where established with a short test version of the timeline that the client was shown for their approval, this was go give a general idea of the final product before continuing its production. With this I had to follow the clients Brand style guidelines: that is the company's trademarked colours font choices, how and where to use logos.
