Concept art: Design colours 

the last part to the character concept art was to decide upon the colour design, there isn't a "generalised" colour/colour's that homeless people in new zealand wear so i made a array of colour designs based of individuals that have been in news articles for being homeless to get the general idea across. i did these colour design concepts on the final character design choice.

stop motion  step 1 story after pairing into groups me and Chris discussed several concepts for short film ideas and land on that of a magicians act gone wrong and the after math of that, this consists of the final act of the show, ending with the magicians final trick, the "decapitation" of his assistant, however this becomes a literal decapitation only recognized by the magician and after some time 2 cops in the crowd causing a chase to ensue. step 2 style the style of the film in a genre, would be dark humor and the characters we have decided are going to be wire frame puppets such as those from the corpse bride, with exaggerated features that depict there personality's better visually.. step 3 refinement the refinement of these concepts led to several changes in the story but those changes themselves have not been finalized, originally we had a soon to be husband who was engaged to the assistant character but this was removed due to having to create too ma...

animations needed the animations that i believe i can do in the time frame i have and can be used to create a full game character (and enemy) are Run cycle x2 Idle Quick combo x2 Heavy combo Doge forward/backward Hit x2 (when a character is damaged) Death x2 rapid cycle attack Card throw (special move) Super attack  i was originally going to have my main reference be the fighting game skull girls as its the most modern 2d fighter but the animation team referenced the game street fighter third-strike, so i used a combination of the two  i will now look into the techniques used in these and possibly other games and see how i can implement them, so far i think that i will end up using multiple techniques in each animation.

Dogme 95  Dogme 95 was a concept invented in 1995 by two danish directors who wanted to return films to there purest form, removing excessive technology from the filming process that they believed tarnishes genuine creativity. this became a "manifesto" with a set of rules that need to be fulfilled for a film to be considered Dogme, this was labeled as the Vow of Chastity.  the vows Shooting must be done on location. Props and sets must not be brought in.
