this technique gives the film a different visual impression, allowing for ease of movement and other opportunity's for camera techniques, however the video quality is naturally lower than more professional devices, but that can inherently enhance the tone of the film such as in Tangerine where the low budget devices make sense.

filming with drones isnt a new filming technique but in "in the robot skies" the entire film is done through this giving it a outsiders perspective feeling, never getting close like in most films to highlight emotions and relationships between characters.
