Animation's : part 2
what was decided at one of the previous group meetings was that an animatic for the animation needed to be made to see what the animation should look like, however its fallen into the same problem we have had previously, in that it doesn't show the style of the animations movement, i've created animations to attempt to combat this issue based of the designs in the animatic, currently there seems to be a misunderstanding between the animation and film departments in what is required to create animation for a short film, i haven't had word back still on if the animations i have done are visually fitting what is wanted for this project.
one of the longest scenes focused on a single, continuous animation was of a scrolling shot that goes up a wall, for this scene to have value in being in the final cut of the film at all it needed to be a more complex animation, my idea for this is having all the colours interact with each other, giving the audience multiple things to see and "absorb" rather than an individual repeating color animation.
another scene i made animations for was the initial oragning of the colour animations the first time they are seen, leaping from the chalk drawings the main character has created, the shapes i have used emulate those in the scene.
an example of how this animation can be combined with itself, as the scene goes on the animations grow and become more frequent.
this is the looping end to the animations above that will be composited exactly where those ones end.
